Key Responsibilities- Food Service Delivery: Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner, adhering to established menus and recipes.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain the cleanliness of front-of-house areas, including organizing dishes and utensils, and ensuring a tidy and welcoming environment.
- Food Safety and Handling: Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
- Training and Development: Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Experience: Ideally, have experience working within education catering or a similar environment.
- Health and Safety Knowledge: Possess good health and safety knowledge and understanding.
- Flexibility and Teamwork: Be flexible with a can-do attitude, customer-focused, and a team player who enjoys succeeding as a part of a team.
