Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to join our team at Pearson Whiffin - Manufacturing, Engineering & Technical. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Engineer to utilize their maintenance and repair skills in a challenging production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing effective diagnosis, maintenance, and repair on industrial electronic and mechanical equipment
  • Dismantling, checking, and testing of components
  • Providing support to other engineering teams as required
  • Shift work 4 on 4 off

Requirements:

  • A time served Maintenance Engineer, qualified to Level 3 C&G or equivalent
  • Extensive experience working on machinery within a Manufacturing facility
  • Experience working with PLC controls
  • PPM, breakdown, installation, and reactive maintenance experience
  • Great communication skills, able to provide technical support internally to Production teams
  • Able to write reports clearly with good written and verbal English
  • Computer literate with a knowledge of Microsoft Office
