About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading critical business initiatives and programs from ideation through execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement global standards, processes, and programs.
  • Develop and manage management dashboards and reports to drive business decisions.
  • Drive process improvement and change management, including leading and delivering training.
  • Implement the global operating cadence for account teams, working backwards from organizational goals.
  • Track and report key performance indicators, goals, efficiency, and trend analyses during weekly/monthly business reviews.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and participate in projects as needed.
  • Analyze data and trends to make informed recommendations to managers and drive change.
  • Define requirements for specific tooling to support processes and optimize day-to-day work.

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled professional with a strong background in technical program management. You should have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, developing and implementing global standards, and driving process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
  • 5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience.
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT, and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures, and hands-on SQL coding experience.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab, or other statistical/machine learning software.
  • Experience with implementation of third-party software.
