Job Role: Children's Support Worker

As a Children's Support Worker with Nurseplus, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young adults in care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and safeguard the wellbeing of children and young people
  • Assist with daily routines, including community and educational settings
  • Organize and facilitate social activities to promote engagement and enjoyment
  • Transportation and mobility support
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement safe practice and policies
  • Offer high levels of supervision and support to ensure the young person's needs are met

  • Contribute to the young person's care plans and risk assessments, reviews, and implementation
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience working in a child and/or young adult setting
  • Age 21 or above to meet industry regulations
  • Knowledge in one of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
  • Diploma level 3 in children's and young people, desirable level 4
  • INDCAH
