We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Operations Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team in EMEA. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the scalability and execution of our operations.

Job Description

This is a hybrid position that offers the flexibility to work both remotely and in our office. You will be responsible for:

  • Production and consolidation of monthly management reporting packs for European entities
  • Streamlining audited quarterly P&L/Balance Sheet reporting to US management
  • Supporting the Financial Controller in integrating new acquisitions from due diligence to FinOps and policy establishment
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts, identifying and resolving differences within the close period
  • Assisting the Financial Controller in managing U.GAAP to local GAAP differences for international subsidiaries
  • Identifying process improvements and championing new global and EMEA-based projects, ensuring their successful implementation
  • Ownership and management of various entities' tax compliance
  • Participating in annual local statutory and consolidated audits, internal audit, and SOX requests
  • Collaborating with our legal team, external consultants, and banks to establish new subsidiaries and set up accounting processes for new locations

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business initiatives, maximize efficiencies, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A professionally qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent) degree
  • At least 3-4 years of practice experience in financial operations, reporting, and/or auditing
  • Experience with tax compliance and a strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent partnership skills, enabling effective collaboration with remote and local teams
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and the ability to manipulate large datasets
  • The capacity to communicate complex information effectively, both written and verbally
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently, while being accountable for your activities
