Water Industry Senior Estimator

### Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our Water South Business Unit in Exeter. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in securing profitable projects for our client, a leading infrastructure company in the water industry.
### Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the bid team to secure profitable projects
* Use construction knowledge and commercial insight to identify and mitigate risks
* Prepare material and subcontractor inquiries, selecting prospective partners
* Attend strategy meetings and site visits to identify risks
* Compare and adjudicate subcontractor quotations
* Manage risk throughout the tender period, preparing a comprehensive tender risk register
* Present tenders to senior management, highlighting any significant risks
### Requirements
* Degree in Construction or related field (essential)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Extensive experience with analytical estimating, including projects up to £25m
* Familiarity with various contract types (design & build, traditional, partnering, frameworks)
* Experience using estimating software
* Skilled in cost planning and risk management
