About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paediatric A&E Nurse to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric A&E Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and their families in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide urgent care and support to children and their families during critical moments.
  • Utilize specialized skills in a fast-paced environment, where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a difference.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to children and their families.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, relatives, and visitors.
  • Ensure confidentiality of information regarding children and families.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
  • A Paediatric Nursing Degree.
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric A&E Nurse environment within the last 3 years.
