Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating new business revenue through innovative marketing and networking techniques, while maintaining and growing existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed allocated sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with the dealer network to develop key accounts and create new business opportunities.
- Attend industry trade shows and events to promote our products and services.
- Conduct sales meetings and presentations to introduce our products and services to new and existing clients.
- Manage and maintain a customer portfolio, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Hold a Full UK driving licence.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A strong background in sales, preferably in the construction or heavy plant hire industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
- Knowledge of the construction plant rental industry and its key players.
- A Full UK driving licence.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary, bonus structure, and benefits package, including:
- Basic Salary of £45k to £50k DOE.
- Bonus - in year one this could be up to £20k.
- 25 days holiday.
- Company Car - pick up type vehicle.
