Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Services Contracts Manager to join our team in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Manage commercial mechanical services projects with a minimum value of £1.5m from estimate handover to final account settlement.
  • Procurement: Procure plant materials and subcontractor packages ensuring best value.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets including forecasting and monitoring spend via purchasing software and Excel.
  • Team Leadership: Analyse labour resource needs, manage site visits, and monitor project progress ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.
  • Health & Safety: Prepare Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and monitor Health & Safety compliance.
  • Client Relationships: Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and in-house teams to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Commercial Awareness: Assist with tender submissions, collate certifications, and prepare O&M manuals.
Requirements:
  • Project Management Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in managing high-value mechanical services projects.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and people management experience.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD experience is beneficial.
