About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team at The Firs in Felixstowe. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our care home, providing excellent customer service to our residents, and working collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the care home, including communal areas and resident rooms.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality care, including participating in handovers and contributing to resident care plans.
  • Use cleaning products effectively, following instructions and health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Customer service NVQ2 or equivalent experience.
  • Previous cleaning experience and knowledge, including the use of cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and empathy skills, with a friendly and approachable personality.
