Housekeeper (Residential)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at The Firs in Felixstowe. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our care home, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and comfort.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the care home, including bedrooms, communal areas, and facilities.
• Ensure that cleaning products are used effectively and safely, following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, their families, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and respectful manner.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure that residents receive the best possible care and support.
• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.

• Previous experience in a cleaning or care role, preferably in a residential setting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and visitors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH and data protection.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
