Mechanical Engineering Workshop Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Workshop Trainer to join our team at Boston Rose. As a Mechanical Engineering Workshop Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering workshop-based training to Mechanical Engineering learners at our dedicated engineering training centre in Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification and industrial experience of hands-on Mechanical Engineering work. If you do not have a teaching qualification, we will provide you with the necessary training and support to achieve this.

The role involves delivering training in either mechanical maintenance or machining/CNC, depending on your skill set. You will work full-time, with general hours from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and an early finish on Fridays. The salary for this position is between £32,000 and £38,000 per annum, plus a contributory pension, health plan, and 34 days holiday per year.

To be eligible for this position, you must have a Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification and industrial experience of hands-on Mechanical Engineering work. Any appointment will be made subject to strict vetting and screening checks and receipt of a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
