About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly sought-after school in Hounslow as an Academic Mentor. The school is a highly popular secondary school in West London with 1100 students on roll and is significantly over-subscribed year on year. They also have a growing sixth form with a broad KS5 Curriculum.

The school aims for all students to achieve academic excellence and to grow in confidence through all areas of school life. They were rated outstanding by Ofsted in 2019 and have since gone from strength to strength. The school benefits from an experienced and supportive senior leadership team.

Main Responsibilities:

Provide guidance and coaching to students on a wide range of academic and pastoral topics. Run 1:1 and small group interventions for children who are struggling in core subjects and help raise attainment. The successful candidate will ideally have some experience working with children in a tutoring capacity, however this is desirable and not essential. Graduates with a degree in English, Maths or Science will also be highly regarded.
