Salary



The salary for this position is up to £45,000 per annum, with an additional £5,000 OTE bonus and a £3,000 welcome bonus. The annual Quality & Commercial Bonus and comprehensive benefits package make this a highly competitive offer.



Job Description



As a Registered Manager, you will lead a dynamic team in providing high-quality care to children and young people with complex needs. Your primary responsibilities will include creating tailored care plans, developing and retaining a strong team, fostering consultation, allocating key workers, maintaining high standards, handling complaints and concerns, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring safety.



Required Skills and Qualifications



Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in residential care for children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years. Qualifications: Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is essential. Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferred, or a willingness to enrol within 6 months of starting the role. Knowledge: A solid understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements. Skills: Strong planning, organisation, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership skills. Communication: Confident in verbal and written communication. Trauma-Informed Care: Knowledge of managing the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties, including challenging behaviour. Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required.
