Job Description:
As an Event Manager at Periscope Live, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning and execution of events from start to finish. This full-time hybrid role offers flexibility, working primarily in Daventry with opportunities for remote work. You will design event concepts, manage logistics, handle permits and paperwork, and ensure seamless event delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, organisation, and execution of events.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including transportation, accommodation, and on-site management.
- Oversee the procurement of necessary permits and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Manage event budgets and financial tracking.
- Supervise event staff and vendors, ensuring all elements are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
- Provide on-site management and troubleshooting during events.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding and anticipating their needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends to ensure innovative and forward-thinking event solutions.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably on the agency side.
- Experience of working internationally would be beneficial.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Up-to-date knowledge of event industry trends and best practices.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
- A relevant degree or certification in event management or a related field.
- Relevant experience using the system Cvent.
