Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with their personal care needs, such as washing, dressing, toileting, etc.
  • Support residents with their daily living activities, such as meals, hobbies, socialising, etc.
  • Provide emotional and physical comfort and companionship to residents
  • Observe and report any changes in residents' health and well-being
  • Adhere to the agency's policies and procedures, including compliance, safeguarding, health and safety, etc.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience as a care assistant, preferably in a care home setting
  • A passion for providing person-centred care and enhancing the quality of life of residents
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as per the agency's rota
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
