Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the delivery of our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of tenders and contracts, including the analysis of quotations and the negotiation of terms and conditions.
  • Manage the measurement and valuation of construction work, including the preparation of interim and final accounts.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the service provided.
  • Provide commercial and contractual advice to the project team, including the preparation of contractual letters and the negotiation of disputes.
  • Manage the financial aspects of projects, including the preparation of budgets and the monitoring of expenditure.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with the company's policies and procedures, including the management of risk and the maintenance of accurate records.
Requirements:
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Professional qualification MRICS or MCIOB desirable.
  • Good data interrogation skills and experience of management accounts.
  • Commercial awareness and experience of construction contracts.
  • Re-measurement skills and experience of working in a construction environment.
  • Valid driving licence and CSCS card at appropriate level.
