About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Prevention and Move On services. As Head of Prevention and Move On, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to prevent homelessness and ensure successful resettlement outcomes for our clients.

You will lead a team of coordinators and managers, working closely with local partners to deliver impactful solutions. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping operational strategies, developing new approaches, and ensuring that those we support have the tools to live independently.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a growing service with a mission to end rough sleeping in Southend. If you are a strategic leader with a passion for preventing homelessness and creating lasting change, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to prevent homelessness and ensure successful resettlement outcomes
  • Lead a team of coordinators and managers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Work closely with local partners to deliver impactful solutions and achieve shared goals
  • Shape operational strategies, develop new approaches, and ensure that those we support have the tools to live independently
  • Manage complex budgets, champion safeguarding, and drive a culture of innovation and client-centred support
