Role Overview

As a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for carrying out adult and child social care assessments. We require experienced professionals who can work independently and collaboratively as part of our team.

Key Activities
  1. Mental Health Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments for DoLS and forensic risk assessments, identifying specific risks and potential outcomes.
  2. Collaboration: Work closely with BIA's to complete DoLS assessments, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  3. Reporting: Produce high-quality, legible reports that meet scrutiny standards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Fully Qualified Psychiatrist: Possess expertise in forensic psychiatry.
  • ICO Registration and DBS: Meet essential registration and security requirements.
  • Computer Literacy: Demonstrate proficiency in digital tools and equipment.
Location and Salary

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £70, with additional compensation for travel (£40 per hour) and Section 12 Assessments (£190 flat rate). Our locations include Essex, Northwest, Yorkshire, and East Midlands.
