Distribution Centre Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Retail Delivery Driver to join our Distribution Centre team at St Peter & St James Hospice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering essential stock to our charity shops, collecting donations, and supporting our day-to-day logistical operations.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver stock to our charity shops and collect donations from supporters' homes and local clothes banks
- Support the smooth running of our shops by ensuring timely deliveries and providing exceptional customer service
- Work collaboratively with the Distribution Centre team to achieve our goals and objectives
- Ensure the safe handling and transportation of goods, adhering to road safety and manual handling regulations
- Provide a professional and positive attitude when interacting with customers and the public
- Full-time, permanent position with 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with some early mornings)
- Must have held a driving licence for at least 3 years with no endorsements
- Hold a full, clean driving licence to include at least Category B
- Have had no accidents or claims in the last 5 years in any vehicle
- Be over 21 years of age
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to lift heavy and/or bulky items
