Content Creator

We are seeking a highly creative and organized Content Creator to join our team at Hydes Brewery. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing high-quality visual content for our corporate and pub social media platforms.
Your primary focus will be on creating engaging photo and video content that showcases our pubs, products, and services. You will work closely with our site General Managers to understand their needs and develop content plans that meet their objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage social media channels for up to 20 premium food and community pubs, plus corporate channels
- Visit up to 20 pubs over a rotating two-week period to agree content plans and create photo/video content on site
- Create inspiring content plans suitable for our various pub category audiences on various channels: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Generate social media content that is creative and relevant to build our corporate and employer brand, enhance our pubs' reputations, engage with existing customers, and attract new audiences to drive online bookings and pub visits
- Capture raw images and transform them into relevant and engaging photo and video content
- Contribute to the overall marketing plan to drive awareness and call to action
- Coordinate social media messaging with the wider marketing department to ensure consistency of message, branding, and timelines
- Build relationships with social media influencers and local content creators
- Take ownership of scheduling with a well-balanced annual content plan across all platforms while meeting the marketing strategy
- Monthly social media analysis, demonstrating a measurable ROI such as increased web traffic, increased bookings, improved engagement
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for visual storytelling and social media. You will have a strong background in hospitality, retail, or public relations, marketing communications for B2C, with a proven track record of creating engaging content that drives results.
Key Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in hospitality, retail, or public relations, marketing communications for B2C
- Copywriting and literacy skills with high attention to detail and proof-reading skills
- Previous experience in a social media role using various platforms, scheduling platforms, and a good understanding of analytics
- Strong food and drink photography and videography skills, including reels
- Proficiency in photo and video editing software
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate at different levels
- Excellent administration and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Aware of local events, Northwest geography, and the latest industry news, challenges, and trending topics to create engaging corporate content
- Flexible with some requirement for out of hours and weekend work
