Costume Craftsman for Matilda The Musical

We are seeking an experienced Costume Craftsman to join our team at the Royal Shakespeare Company in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a renowned show like Mtilda The Musical.
About the Role
This full-time position involves working in a professional wardrobe department, creating and maintaining costumes for the show. As a Costume Craftsman, you will be responsible for managing the wardrobe budget, coordinating with designers and other team members, and ensuring that all costume-related tasks are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with designers to develop and implement costume designs
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of costumes for the show
- Manage the wardrobe budget and ensure efficient use of resources
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a professional theatre wardrobe department
- Strong knowledge of costume design and construction principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Benefits
