Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Primary School Support

Job Summary:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Class Teacher in delivering engaging lessons, managing pupil behavior, and providing individualized support to students with varying needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Class Teacher in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment.
  • Assist in managing pupil behavior, promoting positive relationships, and encouraging social skills.
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, adapting teaching strategies to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Class Teacher to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to enhance student learning.
Requirements:
  • Recent experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities in a care or education setting.
  • Relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
  • Maths and English GCSEs at C and above.
