We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Team Leader to join our client\u2019s busy manufacturing team in Lichfield. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily and weekly production plans are delivered on time and within budget.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet business objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of production staff to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Monitor and report on production performance, including yield and productivity measures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, HR policies, and quality procedures.
  • Perform performance management, including quarterly reviews, target setting, and coaching.
  • Develop and maintain a robust succession plan for the team.
  • Lead cell reviews, SICs, and operational improvement plans.
  • Investigate accidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in manufacturing management, with a focus on production planning and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean tools and techniques, including problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Good mathematical capability and understanding of yield and productivity measures.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, including HACCP and corrective and preventative actions.
  • Ability to deliver safety briefs and engage with staff at all levels.
