Job Title: Asset Maintenance Lead

A leading food manufacturing company in Staffordshire is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join their production facility in Lichfield.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Maintenance Team Leader to lead our multi-skilled maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the team, as well as providing engineering support to the production area for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and auxiliary systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage a team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers
  2. Provide engineering support to the production area
  3. Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
  4. Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
  5. Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements
Requirements:
  1. Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G's or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC/HNC level
  2. Experience of managing a small team
  3. Multi-skilled, electrically biased with some mechanical skills/experience
  4. Apprenticeship trained
  5. Manufacturing/production experience required
