Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support our community fundraising efforts. As a Community and Events Fundraising Volunteer, you will play a vital role in helping us raise funds for Teesside Hospice.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in their community. You will work closely with our team to assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of community fundraising activities, campaigns, and events.

You will be responsible for providing unpaid/voluntary help to assist with fundraising activities or events, researching potential supporters and promoting campaigns and events as appropriate.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills while working with a professional fundraising and marketing department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with event set-ups, supervision, and clear down
  • Help with distributing marketing materials for campaigns and providing information to the public
  • Work with other volunteers as a team
  • Complete documentation relating to the role
Training and Support:

You will join a professional fundraising and marketing department and have the opportunity to learn and develop skills utilizing the experience and expertise. You will be provided with a Teesside Hospice volunteer ID badge and have access to discounts with other retailers and companies.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £12,000-£15,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
