Nurse Specialist Injector for Cervical Dystonia

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Specialist Injector to join our Patient Support Programme (PSP) team. As a specialist injector, you will provide on-site support to existing Botulinum Toxin (BoNT) services, delivering dedicated NHS BoNT injection clinics for patients previously diagnosed and treated for Cervical Dystonia.
Main Responsibilities- Administer BoNT injections for Cervical Dystonia patients, ensuring accurate dosing and muscle selection.
- Manage clinic caseload, prioritizing patient care and adhering to Trust guidelines and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and carers, providing empathetic support and information.
- Maintain accurate patient records and Trust reporting systems, ensuring seamless data management.
- Collaborate with the PSP team to ensure smooth referral processes and ongoing adverse event reporting.
- Current registration with a relevant governing body (GMC, NMC, HCPC).
- Extensive BoNT administration experience, with a minimum 2-year experience in an NHS toxin service.
- Ability to travel and work in Trust BoNT clinics on a flexible basis.
- CV and reference to confirm competency in BoNT administration as an independent practitioner.
