Shift Quality Control Technician

CK Group are recruiting for a Shift Quality Control Technician to join their team at a chemicals manufacturing company based near Northampton. The successful candidate will support the production team and ensure all incoming and outgoing raw materials and fragrance batches are subjected to relevant quality control tests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality control tests to determine differences in quality.
  • Investigate and record non-conformances and reworking according to specifications.
  • Support the production team in maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The company offers a competitive salary of £28,000 following a 3-month training period. This is a full-time, permanent role with a shift-based schedule, with training shifts from 8:30 am to 5 pm and regular shifts from 2 pm to 10 pm. The location is commutable by road from surrounding areas including Kettering, Wellingborough, Corby, and Rugby.

This is a routine quality control position in a fast-paced industrial setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all incoming and outgoing raw materials and fragrance batches are subjected to relevant quality control tests.
