Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at KPI Recruiting. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation activities on various equipment to ensure smooth and safe plant operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery such as pumps, valves, compressors, heat exchangers, and conveyors.
  • Diagnose and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on rotating and static equipment.
  • Installation & Commissioning: Install new mechanical systems and components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Troubleshooting: Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide corrective action to minimize downtime.
  • Welding & Fabrication: Perform basic welding and fabrication work for modifications and repairs.
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Ensure adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
