Job Overview:

Our Finance Department is launching a new Apprenticeship scheme, seeking passionate individuals to join us and kickstart their finance career.

As a Finance Apprentice, you will gain exposure to various teams and countries across the Finance Shared Service Centre:

  • Master Data
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable – Cash & Card
  • Cash & Banking
  • Fixed Assets

The duration of the apprenticeship will be 2 years, providing a strong foundation in accounting, solidifying studies with practical experience in a supportive environment.

You will learn practical skills, as well as technical skills, working in a large Finance Shared Service Centre, interacting with the business on different facets.

This opportunity will enable you to be part of a professional environment, develop your communication and influencing skills, and become AAT qualified & competent in using Microsoft tools, SAP, and other ERP/Legacy systems.

Accounts Payable

  • Invoice Processing
  • Supplier Statement Reconciliations
  • Open Items, Debit Balances, Query Management
  • Supplier communication
  • Payments

Accounts Receivable

  • Raising Invoices
  • Rebates
  • Cash & Card transaction processing & reconciliations
  • Customer communication

Cash & Bank

  • Uploading Bank Statements
  • Reprocessing Transactions
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Query Management

Master Data

  • Setting up/amending Suppliers
  • Setting up/amending Customers
  • Purchase Order Set up
  • Bank Detail Verification
  • Cost Centre/Profit Centre set up
  • Data Cleanse
Candidate Requirements:
  • GCSE Maths Grade 7 and above
  • A 'Level (Accounting/Business Studies/Economics) – Grade C and above or a Finance Degree
  • Organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages
