Mentor for Young People

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mentor for Young People to join our team at The Really NEET Project Ltd. As a Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting our learners with additional needs, helping them to overcome complex educational barriers and achieve their full potential.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality on-site youth work to our learners, providing a supportive and nurturing environment that encourages personal growth and development.
* Plan and deliver Maths and/or English Functional Skills lessons in line with the NCFE curriculum, ensuring that our learners receive the best possible education.
* Develop and implement teaching and learning practices that raise student standards and progress, using creativity, differentiation, and extension tasks to keep our learners engaged.
* Meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs, working collaboratively with the SENCO to prepare, implement, monitor, and review Individual Educational Packages.
* Provide a high-quality student experience that enables our learners to succeed beyond their expectations, promoting inclusion best practice and contributing to the aims and ethos of the college.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with learners, staff, and stakeholders.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our learners, with a willingness to undertake a DBS Enhanced Clearance check and complete a Self Disclosure.
