About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst - Demand Planning to join our team. As a key member of our General Merchandise team, you will play a critical role in delivering all non-food items for Sainsbury's, Habitat, and Argos customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across trading teams, supply chain, and A&R to gain valuable insights and experience.
  • Systematically manage sales performance/demand forecasts and respond to performance trends.
  • Drive intake, distribution, and sales by working closely with our A&R and supply chain colleagues to ensure stock is allocated and delivered to the right place at the right time.
  • Leverage your strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams to influence outcomes, drive alignment, and enhance customer satisfaction.

What You'll Need

  • Experience and working knowledge of multi-channel retailing across a number of commercial, analytical, and operational disciplines such as Merchandising, A&R & Supply Chain.
  • Strong understanding of forecast planning and intake.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills – you know how to work through ambiguity and evolving priorities at pace.
  • Highly competent in developing a broad range of engaging, relevant content or analysis, utilising a variety of tools including but not limited to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
