Job Title: FinTech QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled FinTech QA Engineer to join our team at Nutanix. As a FinTech QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial technology applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our financial technology applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, business analysis, and support teams, to understand application features, workflows, and architecture.
  • Design and execute test cases to ensure thorough testing of applications before releasing into production.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our testing strategies remain effective and efficient.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing within Financial Services Technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience owning the QA testing strategy for an application.
  • Strong understanding of different testing types, including regression testing, ad hoc testing, integration testing, performance testing, etc.
  • Strong automation skills, preferably in Java.
  • Solid understanding of Web/UI testing, specifically web apps (Angular/React), and Selenium knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of building tests for RESTful APIs.
  • Must be strong in SQL and general database technologies.
  • Be able to query and quickly compare large datasets.
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Must have prior experience working with applications on Windows and Unix platforms.
  • Must have strong understanding of CI/CD best practices, including use of various testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, etc.

  • Experience working with applications running on AWS.
