As a key member of our charity marketing and communications team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of new and innovative ways to launch events and generate PR opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the PR and Communications Director to respond to press enquiries and manage media coverage through internal and external sources.
  • Draft press releases, blog content, emails, and social media content to promote the charity's mission and events.
  • Liaise with partner charities and social media connections to build relationships and promote the charity's work.
  • Update the media page on the charity website, including specific areas of fundraising and awareness.
  • Create invitations and pack merchandise for events.
  • Control email signatures and phone content in line with charity brand guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong administration skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.

What We Offer:

  • Flexible working hours, with core hours from 10:00-16:30, 37.5 hours per week.
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays (max. 4 to be used at Christmas).
