Job Summary:
Balfour Beatty is seeking a skilled Traffic and Logistics Manager to join our Major Projects team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and transportation of our projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of subcontractors and their personnel, including Traffic Marshals (TMs), to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Provide guidance and instruction to subcontractors and TM teams on effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, including 'The Red Book' and Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- NRSWA Supervisor accreditation or equivalent LANTRA qualification.
- Excellent working knowledge of CAD software and transportation management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
