About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Location Manager to join our team at Anchor Hanover, a leading provider of care and housing for older people. As a Location Manager, you will be responsible for managing properties, supporting residents to live independent lives, and ensuring that the location is safe and well-maintained.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage properties, including letting properties, managing rent accounts, and dealing with anti-social behaviour.
  • Support residents to live independently by working with external agencies and providing access to the right services.
  • Maintain resident trust and confidence through effective communication and setting expectations.
  • Manage the location's budget and service charge accounts to ensure that residents' homes are well-maintained and repairs are completed to a high standard.
  • Ensure that the location is safe by carrying out health and safety checks and risk assessments in accordance with policies and procedures.

Requirements:

You will need to have previous experience in housing or care, with a good balance of heart and head to manage property matters, tenancy matters, and relationships with residents. Ideally, you will have worked with vulnerable client groups, but we are looking for someone with the right attitude, resilience, and ability to problem-solve.
