Chef Apprenticeship Role

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as an Apprentice Chef. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to a high standard, while also learning the skills and knowledge required to become a successful chef.

The role is based in Wolviston - Toby Carvery - Billingham, where you will work under the supervision of experienced chefs to gain hands-on experience and training. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation, as well as learning about customer service and teamwork.

As an Apprentice Chef, you will be working towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship standard over the course of 15 months. This includes a mixture of face-to-face and remote training sessions, as well as on-the-job training and feedback sessions with your mentor.

You will be expected to commit to a full-time schedule, working 30 hours per week and adhering to the company's standards and policies. In return, you will receive a competitive salary, ranging from £8.60 to £11.44 per hour depending on age, as well as benefits such as a pension scheme, holiday pay, and discounts on food and drinks.
