Join our dynamic team as a Civil Engineering Project Manager and take on the challenge of designing and implementing transportation plans and strategies for various civil engineering projects.

About the Role:

We are currently looking for a skilled Transport Planner to manage our projects in Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing transportation plans and strategies.
  • Producing transport planning reports and technical notes.
  • Communicating technical concepts to colleagues and clients.
  • Managing project budgets and financial monitoring.
Requirements:
  • A relevant university degree or apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • A proven track record in delivering successful projects on time and to budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent standard of written English, particularly in report writing.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of competence in the use of MS Office products (including Excel and Word).
  • Experience of working with Junctions 9/10, TRICS, and TEMPRO.
  • Knowledge of government transport policy and guidelines.
  • Understanding of the principles of transport planning.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Excellent time and budget management skills.
  • Experience using LINSIG and interpreting results.
  • Experience using AutoCAD and AutoTrack.
  • Masters Degree in Transport or Relevant Subject.
  • Professional Membership of an appropriate institution (e.g., MCIHT).

Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum
