About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Community Mental Health Team as a Bank Worker at Band 4. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals with mental health needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with service users, promoting their recovery and independence in the community. You will also collaborate with mental health professionals, voluntary agencies, and private sector organizations to ensure the delivery of best-value services.

Key duties include:

  1. Providing support to allocated service users, promoting their recovery and independence in the community.
  2. Working closely with Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners to implement recovery-focused support and wellbeing plans for individual service users.
  3. Positively promoting independent living of service users within the community.
  4. Identifying early signs of relapse by monitoring service users' progress, level of functioning, and mental state, and alerting appropriate staff involved in their care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ level 3 qualification or mental health certificate level 3, or agreement to undertake such training as soon as resources permit.
