Job Title: MRI Radiographer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MRI Radiographer to join our team at the Royal Free Hospital. This position is ideal for an experienced radiographer with postgraduate training in MRI.

The successful candidate will be working alongside Band 6 and 7 MRI specialist radiographers, MRI-trained rotational radiographers, and radiographic assistants to deliver an extended hours 7-day service in the MRI Department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Use specialized knowledge and expertise to produce high-quality images to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Demonstrate high standards of care and ensure patient flow in the Trust by actively managing the flow of emergency and inpatient workload through MRI.
  • Carry out protocoling of MRI requests, checking of conditional devices, and aid in the booking of complex cases.

Requirements:

  • DCR (R) or BSc Diagnostic Radiography qualification.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Postgraduate Certificate in MRI.
  • IV Cannulation Certificate.
