We are seeking a highly skilled Radiographer to join our MRI team at Charing Cross Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services and developing your clinical expertise in MRI.

Charing Cross Hospital is part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, one of the largest healthcare providers in North West London. Our trust employs over 13,000 people, offering a wide range of clinical specialties and research opportunities.

This role offers the opportunity to build on and develop your clinical skills in MRI, with a focus on providing excellent patient care and contributing to the delivery of an efficient MRI service. You will need excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work, as participation in extended working hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential.

Main Responsibilities

  • To assist in the provision of an efficient MRI service, working closely with the radiography team to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.
  • To work as part of a professional radiography team, providing a high-quality diagnostic service that meets the needs of our patients.
  • To develop and improve professional expertise through continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest advances in MRI technology and techniques.
  • To maintain a safe working environment within the MRI department, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.

Person Specification

  • BSc(Hons) Radiography or equivalent qualification, with a strong foundation in MRI principles and practices.
  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer, demonstrating commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer and keyboard skills, with experience using medical imaging software.
