Kainos is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Sector Expansion Manager to join our team. As a key member of our business development function, you'll be responsible for leading and generating activity in your sector/region by building an extensive network of industry contacts. Your primary goal will be to develop Kainos as a business, preferably through new accounts, and build and maintain a rich pipeline of opportunities across the commercial sector.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in the business development process, deal commercials, and constructing complex commercial offers. They'll be able to create business development strategies and account plans that ensure success in winning large deals, recognising that such campaigns may need to be built up over an extended period of time. Delivering against quarterly and annual targets is crucial, as well as communicating, presenting, and influencing credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.

This role requires strong networking skills and the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have broad technology experience, a sound awareness of technology trends, and excellent knowledge of digital services concepts and our markets. They'll be able to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.

We're passionate about developing people and look for candidates who can manage, mentor, and coach members of their team and wider community. An appreciation and knowledge of technology delivery, agile methodologies, etc., are advantageous.
