Position Overview

Murphy is on the lookout for Graduate Cost Estimators to join their dynamic team and work closely with commercial managers. This role presents a remarkable opportunity for recent graduates to launch their careers with a well-respected contractor. Through the comprehensive two-year Graduate Program, you will immerse yourself in Murphy's collaborative environment, take advantage of growth opportunities, and work towards obtaining a professional qualification with dedicated mentorship and training. As a Graduate Cost Estimator, your main duty will be to deliver extensive commercial support to the organization and the Commercial Team on multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Tendering

  • Oversee subcontract and material procurement timelines
  • Assist in the preparation of subcontracts

Financial Management

  • Develop cash flow projections
  • Create plans for margin enhancement

Risk Assessment

  • Identify potential project risks and opportunities

Commercial Oversight & Financial Management

  • Generate internal commercial reports

  • Manage subcontractor accounts

Construction Technology
