About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Kingston Barnes Ltd in Salisbury. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical systems, including HVAC and steam generation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance work associated with all mechanical systems, including HVAC and steam generation.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machines and equipment by checking for smooth operation and replacing worn and defective parts.
  • Isolate defective equipment from power supply, check visually for faults, test mechanical parts for faults, isolate the problem areas and take corrective action to repair the problem.
  • Comply with company Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
  • Carry out reactive tasks assigned to them via the Help Desk, ensuring that the standard of work is compliant with company standards and reaction times are met.
Requirements
  • Experience on a mechanical basis HVAC systems (preferable: gas and steam).
  • Has experience doing maintenance on commercial facilities.

Annual salary up to £38,000 plus overtime & standby allowance, pension, tools, PPE, mobile phone.
