Consultant Obstetrician

Job Summary
The University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Obstetrician to join our team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing a full range of obstetric skills, including managing the Labour Ward, Antenatal clinics, Section Lists, and Maternity Assessment Unit.
You will work closely with existing consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Your expertise in Perinatal Mental Health will be invaluable in supporting our patients and their families.
In addition to your clinical duties, you will participate in trust leadership programmes and support the Safeguarding team. You will also be expected to contribute to the immediate management functions and strategic planning of the Division and Trusts.

Main Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of obstetric skills, including managing the Labour Ward, Antenatal clinics, Section Lists, and Maternity Assessment Unit.
- Work closely with existing consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Participate in trust leadership programmes and support the Safeguarding team.
- Contribute to the immediate management functions and strategic planning of the Division and Trusts.
