Job Title: Bank Paediatric Physiotherapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at Cromwell Hospital. As a Bank Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for paediatric clients, working independently in effective caseload management and optimal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide highly specialist and evidence-based assessment, outcome measures, diagnosis, and intervention for paediatric clients aged from birth up to 18 years of age.
  • Work independently in effective caseload management and optimal service delivery.
  • Support the development of the Paediatric Physiotherapy Service at Cromwell Hospital.
  • Participate in discharge planning and liaise with external agencies to ensure a safe and supportive discharge.
  • Comply with confidentiality policies and respect patient rights.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient treatment records and reports.
  • Manage clinical risk and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Recommend and provide therapy equipment within scope.
  • Participate in departmental in-service training and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Proven experience in neurodevelopment and neurology and/or paediatric MSK and orthopaedics.
  • Knowledge of paediatric outcome measures and standardised assessments.
  • Knowledge of specialist equipment appropriate to paediatric physiotherapy.
