Interim VAT Manager

Pure is seeking a highly skilled VAT Manager to join our team. As a VAT Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing new IT systems from a VAT perspective to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and Document Findings: Conduct thorough reviews of new IT systems to identify potential VAT compliance issues and document findings.
- Provide Solutions and Follow Through: Develop and implement solutions to address identified issues and ensure their resolution.
- Manage Outstanding Queries: Work through outstanding queries and prepare error corrections and correspondence for submission to HMRC as required.
- Embed Compliance Checks: Identify ways to improve system accuracy and work with the VAT team to embed these checks into current compliance processes.
The ideal candidate will have indirect tax experience, an accounting or tax qualification, and experience interacting with HMRC. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional looking to make a meaningful contribution to our team, we encourage you to apply.
