VAT Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled VAT Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a VAT Manager, you will be responsible for providing VAT advisory and compliance services to a wide range of corporate clients in the FTSE100, FTSE250, AIM, and private equity backed and privately owned businesses.
Key Responsibilities- Provide VAT advisory and compliance services to corporate clients
- Manage VAT compliance for own portfolio of clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with changes in VAT legislation and regulations
- Collaborate with other teams to deliver wider business solutions
- Significant understanding of and previous experience with VAT compliance
- Good knowledge of VAT technical areas
- Ability to manage a large and varied client portfolio
- Ability to actively seek opportunities for selling new services to existing clients
- Experience of dealing direct with Tax Authorities
- Experience of dealing with client senior management and key stakeholders
