Senior Associate - Real Estate Future Energy

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our Real Estate Future Energy team in Bristol or Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law and a keen interest in the future energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting option agreements and leases for clean energy projects, including wind, solar, battery storage, electric vehicles, and hydro.
  • Undertaking due diligence on these projects, including reviewing title, enquiries, and searches.
  • Acting in relation to the financing of clean energy projects and large-scale acquisitions/disposals, working with individuals in our corporate, banking, construction, planning, and regulatory disciplines.
  • Providing a quality service to clients in accordance with the Firm's procedures.
  • Maintaining and improving relations with existing clients and identifying opportunities for business development and enhancement of the current services offered.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales qualified) with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • At least 3 years of post-qualification experience within real estate.
  • Ideally, experience working with clients in the future energy sector, but those with a keen interest to specialise in this sector are encouraged to apply.
