We are seeking a talented Research Scientist to join our Biostatistics Research Group within the Department of Population Health Sciences. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical trials methodology and experience in conducting systematic reviews and consensus studies.

The post-holder will work collaboratively and independently as part of the research team, contributing to the development of statistical methods in medical research and the dissemination of research findings through publications, presentations, and stakeholder engagement activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking a systematic review of current trials in the disease area to understand current practice
  • Conducting a consensus study using a Delphi approach to prioritise methodological uncertainties for future methodological research
  • Working closely with the project lead, co-investigators, and steering group to complete the required research
